Cam Roxburgh, DMin. Fuller Seminary, is the National Director for Forge Canada as well as the Team Leader of Southside Community Church in Vancouver, BC. He also serves as the VP for Missional Initiatives with the North American Baptists. He continues to have a passion for helping the church to join Jesus on mission in local contexts. He is the husband of one wife (Shelley) and the father of four kids. They live in Surrey, BC.
Karen Wilk, DMin, is a National Team Member leading our Neighbourhood Life initiatives and the Edmonton hub. This role is supported through Forge’s partnership with Home Missions-Western Canada of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA) with whom she serves as a Missional Leader Developer. She is also a neighbour, wife, mom, and pastor of NEW (Neighbourhood Engagement Workers’) Community. She has been a vocational pastor in Edmonton for almost 28 years and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Missional Leadership at Northern Seminary. Along with preaching and teaching in numerous places, Karen has written a number of books including Don’t Invite Them To Church: Moving From a Come and See to a Go and Be Church.Recently she was included in the Bridgeway Foundation’s list of top “100 fantastic Canadian Christian women leaders”.
Dr. Preston Pouteaux is a beekeeper, neighbourhood enthusiast, and pastor at Lake Ridge Community Church. He is an engaging speaker, writer, and curator of conversations about faith and neighbourhoods. He is part of the Forge Canada National Team and teaches at colleges across the country. He studied at Covenant Bible College, Briercrest College, Regent College, Tyndale Seminary, and Jerusalem University College in Israel. He is the author of Imago Dei to Missio Dei and the award-winning author of The Bees of Rainbow Falls: Finding Faith, Imagination, and Delight in Your Neighbourhood. Since 2015 his syndicated column, Into the Neighbourhood, has been printed over one millions times in weekly newspapers. Preston lives in Chestermere, Alberta, with his wife Kelly, their daughters Scotia and Ivy, and a few thousand honeybees.
Merv Budd was formerly the National Director of the Equipping Evangelists, a movement whose mission was to champion the role of the evangelist and enable them to equip the local church. He is also the Sr. Minister of North Burlington Baptist Church. He has served on the Mission field in India and Nepal where he did open air preaching and literature distribution. He earned an M.Div. from Regent College during which time he helped to plant Southside Community Church. He and his wife, Lisa, have two children. Merv oversees our Ontario Hubs.
