What does youth ministry look like in a branded age? It’s not what you might think. We are learning that ministry to youth is about moving with youth through the hyper-reality and marketed hype of consumer culture while living mission with them in a consumer’s world. This workshop invites discussion and participation around the shifts needed to move from a fragmented, isolated, and consumer driven reality for youth and towards a more compelling story of meaning and a life lived differently than the one served up by consumer culture.
